We Give Back to Our Community

Hi! The guys who publish our books-Pleasant Oliver Media–really care about our community and solving the serious problems we teenagers face as we grow up. They make a solemn promise to donate 10% of their profits to local groups that help protect animals, children and women from abuse; support immigrants; support teenagers’ rights, and help many others like them.  Listen to and read the lyrics of a great song, It’s Gotta Stop–The Animal Abuse Song, we put below our favorite charity links.

Our Mission

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a volunteer-powered nonprofit dedicated to rescuing homeless, neglected, and abandoned animals from certain euthanasia and finding them loving forever homes. We educate the community and all pet parents on responsible pet parenting, including the importance of spay/neuter, obedience training, and good nutrition.

Our Philosophy

We have multiple and strong relationships with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities. Through these relationships we rescue hundreds of animals every year, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.

St. Jude’s Rocks! Love their motto! Since 1962, it has treated very sick kids and young adults like us-regardless of race, religion, or a family’s ability to pay. Families never receive a bill for anything!

We love this vital organization! It helps poor immigrants in N. Virginia with all of their legal issues, from applying for residency permits to obtaining asylum from real danger in their home countries. Just Neighbors’ superb staff fosters better understanding between immigrants and the Northern Virginia community. Something that area really needs!
